Overcoming The Sorrow Of Being Single Day 27 – 5 Minutes of Prayer

I’m pushing out Day 27 of the series a little bit early today for two reasons.

5 minutes of prayerFirst, let’s make today a day full of prayer.

From 10:00AM to 10:00PM today I will be devoting 5 minutes of prayer every hour on the hour and I’d like to invite you to join me.

This will be easier for some than others, but if you can make the sacrifice to keep prayer flowing throughout your day, you will not regret it. However you can fit in 60 minutes of devotional prayer today, I encourage you to do so.

Let your prayers be intimate conversations with God. Share with God everything that is in your heart and fill your prayers with worship and thanksgiving.

Above all things, be sure to take moments to stop and listen. Open your heart and hear what the Spirit of God is saying to you.

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3 ESV)

Giving God moments of time throughout the day is something that I hope is, or will be, a common practice for you. It will change your life.

Secondly, I want to give you enough time to clear your schedule for two events.
